Shiva's Cave for Exercise and Special Events

Shiva's Cave is the ideal location for a broad range of activities. The large wooden workout deck can be used for exercise such as yoga, tai chi, pilaties. It can also be set up to seat up to 40 people for weddings, seminars and special parties. The interior cave chamber is perfect for quiet meditation, chanting, sound healing, massage and reki. Shiva's Cave has become a favorite spot for filming TV shows like the Bachelor and Love Island.

Shiva's Cave for Guests Renting a Home on Monte Placido

Shiva's Cave may be used exclusively for our paying guests for their own personal work out or quiet meditation. There are NO SCHEDULED YOGA CLASSES AT THIS TIME. If you would like a private yoga lesson we can arrange for an instructor. Please inquire.

At Monte Placido we host many talented clients that would like to offer massage or lessons in yoga, dance, boxing and other activities, either to our guests or people coming in from the outside. If you would like to use Shiva's Cave to earn money, you will need to present your proposal and receive our permission in writing. Please email [email protected]

Renting Shiva's Cave for your Retreat or Special Event

Shiva's Cave can be rented by the hour by our guests, or non guests for yoga retreats, seminars, weddings, special events and TV filming. In general, the rate is $50 dollars per hour with a minimum time of 1 1/2 hours. Rental arrangements need to be made by us on a case to case basis. Please inquire by email to [email protected].
