-Shuttle Van Service to Las Terrenas-

Three days a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday we offer a Shuttle Van Service to Las Terrenas. The van seats 6 adults and needs to be booked with our manager, Jean Claude a day ahead or early the same morning. It will leave Monte Placido promptly at 11:30 am. The drop off is at  Fisherman's Village parking lot (by the painted wall). The van WILL NOT GO FURTHER INTO TOWN. Pick up is from Fisherman's Village parking lot at at 3:30pm. The cost per person is $100 pesos ($2 dollars) each way. Round trip $200 pesos (4 dollars). The van can drop you and pick you up at nearby Playa Carolima or Mosquito Bar at El Portillo along the way. The cost is the same. 

-Massage-

Julia will travel here and charge $45 dollars (2500 pesos) for a one hour SWEDISH MASSAGE. It is firm yet calming pressure that improves blood circulation, eases muscle tension, and improves flexibility. A wonderful way to relax after a busy day.

-Hiking in the Hills -

Ready for an adventure you won't find with a tour excursion? Hire a guide to take you hiking in the hills and find the true beauty and heart of the Dominican Republic. Our guide speaks only Spanish and  knows the Dominican names and medicinal uses of plants which he will point out along the way. He is knowledgeable about the birds and numerous fruit trees. The hike is good exercise and you will need sturdy shoes. You can request to travel by horse.

-Fishing with a Local Fisherman-

Our local fisherman Freddy will take you out in his 18 foot skiff for about $150 dollars. You will get an early morning start and be gone 3-4 hours.


-Meals Delivered-

There is a service called KOMIDA LAS TERRENAS that can be downloaded from Goople Play.

They will pick up and deliver from most restaurants in Las Terrenas. 


-Groceries Delivered-

Supermarcado in Las Terrenas will deliver groceries to Monte Placido free of charge. You can order online, or shop at Lindo and request they deliver the groceries at check-out. Visit them online: nuevo.lindomarket.com/

-Restaurant in Walking Distance-

YERBA BUENA Restaurant is walking distance from Monte Placido.
​On Calle Luna you turn towards the left, opposite direction of the main road. Walk the dirt road to the residence CLAVE VERDE and follow the sign up the hill to their restaurant YERBA BUENA. Very delicious food. Ask to see the menu in our reception.
